Trends …what are consumers looking for?

J Schwanke, of uBloom, is one of the trend setters. His latest newsletter, Trend Synthesis talks about the four trends he sees being developed in 2016.

These trends are what he calls…

  1. Distraction. This is where bright colours are used to attract the eye in a world where there is a lot of competition. He is recommending to florists that bright coloured flower arrangements will be in vogue this year.
  2. Wild Horses. Modern Wild West cowboy chic think evergreen Texas. The cowboy look is back.
  3. Animal Instinct. I am already seeing reproduction skulls and animal heads in gift shops . This looks like it will continue.
  4. Focus on Foliage. Botanical prints and hammocks in the garden.

All thoughts for consideration.
